At That's Dancin', we're not just a Queens dance studio, we're a family. Since 1986, we've been serving Middle Village and surrounding communities, introducing dancers of all ages to the magic of movement. From toddlers taking their first steps in our 'Twinkling Stars' class to adults rediscovering the joy of dance, we offer a range of creative and challenging classes. Debra A. Nizza (Mrs. Debbie)

Certified Dance Instructor
Debra A. Nizza is a highly qualified and energetic director who has shared her knowledge and passion for dance professionally for over thirty years. She has won numerous awards for choreography at competitions. Many of her dancers have gone on to work in the professional world. She is completely dedicated to her students, she spends many hours in her studio motivating and encouraging them. Debra loves her work and her enthusiasm is contagious. She has built her dance studio as a family oriented business and has added her two daughters Heather and Kristen's teaching skills to her dance education. She is always open to new ideas and innovations in dance.

Heather has been dancing since the age of three. In her younger years her main teacher was her mom Debra Nizza. She continued her education graduating with a BA in dance. She attended Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance furthering her modern training, as well as furthering her ballet training at the Eglevsky Ballet. Heather teaches recreational classes and is responsible for competition classes and choreography for different ages on the award winning NYC All Star Competition team. Many of Heather's competitive students have won regional and national titles. She is recognized as an award winning Choreographer. Her love for dance is passed on to all her students.
Kristen Black (KB)

As the daughter of a dancer, she finds dance to be in her blood. Along with being in or around dance since childhood, she spread her wings in college attending Nassau College majoring in dance. From there not only did Kristen begin to teach but she furthered her passion by performing with various dance groups. Early on she performed with Dance2xs & bulletyme in a dance showcases such as Urbanite, Sybarite, and the prestigious Carnival. As a dancer Kristen feels it is very important to always exercise your talent. More recently she has trained and dance with KPDC and still continues to participate in dance showcases. In the world of competition dance she has been teaching for more than 15 years and has won various choreography awards. Along with helping to train students at That's Dancin' to achieve positions in the professional world of dance.
Our Dancin' Company
NYC All-Stars Competitive Dance Team
For the more serious and advanced dancers, we offer students an opportunity to perform with our New York City All Stars Dance Company. This is our resident competition company. The company participates in 3-4 dance competitions throughout New York and New Jersey during the year, followed by a national competition in July. A sincere commitment to dance and the company is expected of members, who are selected by audition and required to attend special company classes.

That's Dancin' Inc. provides a wide variety of creative and challenging classes for ages 2.5 to adult at levels from beginner through advanced. Our studio will introduce children and teens to the joy and magic of dance. Dance is a healthful, fine arts discipline, that can foster feelings of self-esteem that are important to emotional growth. Stress is eased, moods are changed for the better, and physical toning occurs. Further benefits include the opportunity for children and teens to begin a lifelong love for music and to express themselves creatively. Imagination is stimulated, coordination is increased, and everyone has a lot of fun.
